We had a sweet treat of a day at Disney when our good friend from college, Chris France, came down for work and a visit. It was such an awesome time to get to catch up with France, and we played hard the whole day!

This was all of our first time to Animal Kingdom. WOW, what an awesome park. We rode the safari first, and could have done it over and over again all day. SO cool!

The Lion King show was A-MAZING. We were all enthralled. And Noa and Glo got to go dance around the stage… do you see them here?

Yep, that’s Mt. Everest behind us!

Chris was such a trooper to take in the parks with the three miniatures. He didn’t skip a beat, and actually proved himself a great stroller maneuver-er and ride partner (Noa always claimed him).

Me and my Glo-worm with our bug eyes.

At Epcot the girls and I did princess stalking while the guys tasted the foods and drinks of the world. It was SUPER exciting to finally get to meet Mulan in real life. They LOVE Mulan.

We also got to see Beauty AND the Beast. He made Martha and Gloria a little nervous, but they couldn’t stop talking about him after the fact.

We also got to meet Jasmin and Aladin for the first time. Oh my goodness, Gloria was OBSESSED with Jasmin:

She couldn’t stop hugging her and touching her beautiful hair and jewelry and beadwork on her clothes. And the big girls had tons of questions for them. They especially wanted to know if they had gotten married yet and if they were going to have a baby.
Jasmin and Aladin were so sweet and took tons of time with them… it was definitely a highlight. Oh, and the other fun thing, Jasmine pulled three little beads off her belt and gave one to each of the girls. They loved that. And then Aladin ran and grabbed three leaves off a bush and said, “I’m a street rat so this is all I can give you… but you were my favorite visitors today”. HA! Made the girls’ day!

We ended our day at the magic kingdom for the fireworks and a few special rides. I was most excited for Gloria to experience “It’s a Small World”.

She was completely captivated the whole time. I was too, just watching her!

Thank you SO MUCH, Uncle France, for such a special day together. We loved our time with you, and can’t wait til our next visit, either here or in the wild and wonderful WV.

(this is what 3 disney parks in one day will do to people… and they’re the ones who rode everywhere…)
