This is what I saw when we went to pick up Noa at my parents’ house after our retreat: A happy happy girl who just loves standing and walking from handhold to handhold. Apparently she took two consecutive steps several times over the weekend. Her motivation: just the cheers and claps from a crowd of her adoring grandparents, uncles, and aunt. Can’t seem to round up the same motivation from just Eric and I
The race is on: Will Noa walk or will Martha be born first? This is only one of the best inventions ever. This kid car cart makes grocery shopping so much more fun for both of us. Noa loves steering her way through the aisles of our local grocery store “Mami Mart”
The end of a good, long day. Noa trying hard to stay awake for the rest of dinner.
THE GOOD NEWS: Our second daughter seems to be even more compliant than our first. Today at my OB appointment she was no longer in the breech presentation but with her head down as it should be. With Noa I had to have a version at 38 weeks for the doctor to turn her, since she wasn’t going to do it on her own. Thankfully, so far, this little girl isn’t quite as stubborn. She weighed in today at almost 2.5 kg, which I think is over 5 lbs which I think is pretty big for 33.5 weeks. It sure feels like she’s every one of those grams and more!
Way to be head-down, Martha! Noa, Kathryn and I prayed for you the other day to be walking soon. We’re cheering for you from Virginia, too! And that last picture is just hilarious!
These pics just made me smile … I think Noa will win the race! Go, Noa, go! And hooray for baby Martha!
yay for a growing Noll family!
Lots of love Noa from your Great- Nana you are always in my prayers , and I miss not having you in my arms.It is great to see you pics, and tell your Mom and Dad I miss them too. Hope the days ahead are easy rather than hard.
Way to go Noa! I know that you will be walking everywhere very soon so that your mommy will have to chase you with baby Martha in her arms.
In this picture Noa looks like her daddy did when he would eat a whole quart of ice cream at 625.
