Sorry it has been so long, folks. It’s hard to get over to the library and use their internet and as Noa gets into a routine, its even harder. but here are some fun photos of our last few weeks:
Here is Noa trying to roll over and Auntie Sarah getting down to give her a demonstration. Noa is now a pro.
Last week I had an eye doctor appointment down in Waynesboro (about 40 minutes away). It was great because I brought Noa and dropped her off at Grandma Chase’s while I went to the doctor. This is the sight that I came back to:
Grandma thought that was the best place to keep an eye on Noa while she prepared lunch. Noa was just soaking it all in, especailly glad for Grandma’s songs and rhymes and silly faces. We stayed for the afternoon and Noa had a priviledge of a getting a good “rockety-rock” from Grandma before her nap.
I got to have tea time with Grandma and had a chance to just talk about life and God and the things that he is doing in both of our lives. What a blessing!!
Here is Noa taking in her first snow with Daddy.
Yay for snow days and good times with friends!! We were particularly excited this day because the snow freed us up to watch one of the best football games ever (Patriots and Colts, AFC title game, Peyton Manning finally came through in the clutch, and the glory was given to God). This was also a blessing because Eric had a snow day the next day so we had an unexpected day together as a family.
Last week we had a blast with some dear friend who we live in town with, go to church with, but don’t see nearly enough. Anthony and Sarah are on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and both have had a huge impact on mine and Eric’s lives, both in college and after. It was such a blessing to fellowship with them, laughing lots and just enjoying each other. Anthony and Sarah have a 9-month old daugter, Maddie, who is absolutely adorable. We loved watching her and drilling them with parenting questions about the next several months. Its so nice having friends who are a few steps ahead and who can attest to the joy of parenting only getting greater and greater. Here are us girls before they went home (a little late for Maddie’s bed time but she was still smiling!)
