There is just so much to be thankful for this year, where to start?
I’m thankful for:
God’s beautiful creation, especially at this time of year!
Family and close friends with whom we can celebrate and worship.
A sweet cousin to take naps with and grow up together
Aunts and Uncles
who we know love our daughter and pray for her faithfully!
Great Grandmothers who are more than great!
More than anything, I am thankful for my Father in Heaven’s great love for me. Before Noa was born, I was sharing with my Aunt about a little girl I know who is very sick and we were talking about how hard it would be for the parents. She told me she thought the most painful thing to go through would be to watch your child die, and she reminded methat that is exactly what God went through for us – he watched his beloved Son die that we might have life. I was definitely thankful for that reminder from her before Noa was born, but that kind of pain has seemed more and more real to me since then. I couldn’t willingly go through that and I am even more amazed now that God the Father did, and he went through it for us who were His enemies. Praise the Lord for such grace and love!
