Just now as I was supervising Noa as she got up from bed to use the restroom:
Noa: Hey Mom. Do you know Pakistan?
Me: Yea.
Noa: It’s blooding there.
Me: (confused, but I think I know what she’s thinking, since we’ve been praying for the flood victims in Pakistan) uh-huh
Noa: Can we look at a map and see all the houses there with the blood in there?
Me: (trying not to laugh), No honey, it’s Flooding in Pakistan. That means there’s so much water that it’s going into peoples’ homes so they can’t live in them. So many people there don’t have houses to stay in anymore.
Noa: Well, if they don’t have homes to stay in, they can come live here with us…
…we just need to stop what we’re doing and have a dance party in the kitchen.
*I’d just like to note that these girls have a Grandmother and Auntie (you know who you are) that give them a run for their money when it comes to dance skillz. It’s definitely in their genes.

Or a year and a half before that when I found a little duckling.

I love all the little creatures that I find in our living room, and who call it home.
Who knew a duck, a pig, and a frog could look so much alike?!

A few photos to share this beautiful place and these beautiful people with you:
Can you find the team?
Here they are:
They get around a little differently than we do…

There are big cities,

… and beautiful countrysides.

People work hard.

It is one of the poorest places on earth.

(walking in a city slum)

Precious faces.

Not only does she growl , she giggles a lot too. We love making her laugh.
Eric is home. Very tired, but safe and sound. We are so thankful!
More later…
