Noa, who turns FOUR (what?!?! how did that happen?) on Monday:
“I bet when I turn four, my name will still have an ‘a’ in it.”
I bet so too, sweet girl. But you never know…
Last night we donned our blue and white (and pink), and headed into Tide Territory to watch the Penn State game with some of our dearest friends. And even though the game itself left much to be desired, we had a fabulous time showing our PA spirit and enjoying the fact that we are one in Christ, no matter what colors we wear.
We couldn’t get a good photo of everyone in one picture, so here are two.
(that is, if you count Martha’s game face as a good photo)

Doesn’t Glo’s face in this one just make you smile?

Just now as I was supervising Noa as she got up from bed to use the restroom:
Noa: Hey Mom. Do you know Pakistan?
Me: Yea.
Noa: It’s blooding there.
Me: (confused, but I think I know what she’s thinking, since we’ve been praying for the flood victims in Pakistan) uh-huh
Noa: Can we look at a map and see all the houses there with the blood in there?
Me: (trying not to laugh), No honey, it’s Flooding in Pakistan. That means there’s so much water that it’s going into peoples’ homes so they can’t live in them. So many people there don’t have houses to stay in anymore.
Noa: Well, if they don’t have homes to stay in, they can come live here with us…
