It’s been a rough several days for me. On these kind of days, this is just what I need to bring a smile to my face. Enjoy!
From a few months ago… you can hear for yourself!
After we left Eric at the airport and were driving home in the car, I was, I guess you could say, a little weepy.
Ok, I was full-out crying my eyes out, maybe even sobbing once or twice.
(I don’t handle separation from Eric so well…)
Noa and Martha were a little concerned. Martha kept saying,
“Mommy, you happy now?”
And Noa kept saying generic comforting phrases like,
“Mommy, don’t worry. Everything will be ok. Don’t worry. You don’t need to be sad. Everything will be ok. Don’t worry.”
Then, all of a sudden she points and says,
“Mommy, Look! At that sign! It says, ‘No big people allowed crying on the road.’”
I guess is served her purpose, I stopped crying and began laughing.
Today, all of your [8] cousins enjoyed lunch together, and wished you could be there too. We can’t wait til we get to see you in real life and get to know who you are. We love you already.
Love,
your girly Nolly cousins.
This morning at 3:03 am, William Oliver Iverson was born and welcomed with joy into our family. Congratulations to Mary Stuart and Joel, and to his 4 grandparents and many great grandparents! Mom and Dad now have as many grandkids as kids. Crazy… WONDERFUL!
