Praise God! Yesterday, the Lord provided the final amount needed to be at 100%! We are super excited and so thankful for the Lord’s abundant provision. We’ll post more later, but wanted to thank you and let you know about this wonderful news.

May God be praised!

After leaving NYC last Tuesday, we headed up to Connecticut to spend a day and a half with Grandma and Grandpa Kuehn.

Eric told me on the way up that Lord’s Point is his favorite place on earth.

Can you tell why?

Noa loved being up there, getting to know her great-grandparents better. And we loved all the great things about Lord’s point:

Eating Lobster

Yum…

Relaxing

Playing in the water

The third generation to taste and enjoy that sand!

This is Melanie Currie, our teammate and dear friend from New York. And she is headed to Thailand at the end of August. How cool is that? Anyway, please pray for Melanie as she prepares to leave and makes her way across the world. We love you, Mel!

This has to be an all time favorite photo of mine. Members from our church gave a big group of us tickets to a METS game. It was so fun for Noa to go to her first ever baseball game. And it was pretty cool that her friend, Liam let her borrow his hat for the picture.

These are some of our good friends from our time in New York.
This is Ashley and Linsey, who spent the summer taking care of all the missionary kids. Hudson Taylor is sitting next to Noa having his breakfast at the same time.

And of course there needs to be more photos of Lucy. We miss her so much already!

This is our ministry team. Isaac and Melanie became like family to us as we worked and played and worshiped together all month long! Isaac will be joining us in Chiba, Japan and Melanie will be leaving for Thailand at the end of this month!

Here are Sean and Lindsey and Lucy McCann who became such dear friends this month. I don’t know what we would have done without our sleepovers, pizza dinners, and bath times (just for the little girls). Their friendship was such a blessing and we can’t wait to see the ways that the Lord will continue to cross our paths. For now, they are headed to Honduras.

This is Chloe and Caroline who LOVED Lucy and Noa. And Noa and Lucy LOVED them. Talk about entertainment. Chloe was overheard on the subway one day, while riding with both of them, “TWO BABIES! What could be better than TWO BABIES?”

And this is Noa with Magali, another one of the interns who watched our kids all summer. She is such a beautiful person and so much fun to talk to. She was an MK in Canada and Senegal and now lives with her family in Georgia.

These are some photos of Flushing, the part of New York where we had our ministry assignment. Notice all the Chinese and Korean characters… I guess it should help prepare us for Japan.

We loved our church, Living Faith Community Church and we had the special opportunity to teach ESL classes to people in the Flushing Area.
This is our Chinese student, Fwai Fong Ho. She has lived here for 10 years but just started learning English. She was such a faithful student and we are praying that her classes in some way will point her to Jesus.

This is Marisol, our Columbian student. We found out that she works for a church in Columbia. We loved getting to know her and enjoying her encouragement and smiles.

And here is all of us on our last day. After this, we went out to breakfast together so that they could practice some of the English words for food that they had learned.
